Chances of getting into FSU

My superscored SAT score is 1770, GPA is 3.3 unweighted, 4.56 weighted. In national honor society italian club and interact. I have around 100 community service hours (plan to do more this year). What do you think my chances are of getting into fsu? Would I be better off in the care summer bridge program at fsu or just normal fsu? (Yes I do qualify for the care program in terms of first generation and what not)

FSU: High match

The academic profile of the middle 50% of freshmen accepted in 2013 was:

3.9-4.7 weighted GPA; 26-30 ACT composite; 1730-1960 SAT total

Your SAT score is within that range, but you may want to think about taking it again in October.

You may need to recalculate your weighted GPA. FSU (and I think all of Florida’s public Universities) use a 4 point scale, with honor’s classes having 0.5 points added and DE/AICE/IB/AP classes begin worth +1.0 points. So a B in Spanish 3 (which is treated as a honor class) is worth 3.5, while a B in AP History is worth 4.0.

Good Luck!
