Short essay elaborating on an activity - I wrote about my experience on the Varsity XC team, my work as the captain, and my journey training for the Boston Marathon.

Creative Essay: I wrote about my experience with The Rhode Island Council for Muslim Advancement (RICMA), which is an interfaith organization that aims to promote interfaith collaboration and tolerance within the Rhode Island community. We plan interfaith and Islamic events, and we have a speakers bureau that provides speakers for various institutions and events. As a RICMA representative and member of the speakers bureau, I speak at Rhode Island School of Design, Brown University, Rhode Island College, New England Tech, and many religious temples and high schools about interfaith collaboration, Islamic law, misconceptions in Islam, and womens rights/human rights in Islam.

Foreign Service Essay: I wrote about the conflict in Syria zooming in on the war crimes committed by "Free Syrian Army", showing both sides of the story, and giving my perspective as someone who has lived in Syria and knows how many civilians feel about the conflict, contrary to common belief. I also proposed a solution.
