Chances of getting into Georgetown University?

I have a parent, grandmother, and grandfather who all went to Georgetown University and it is my first choice school. I would love to go there for undergrad and medical school.
Currently a sophomore at a private, Catholic high school
Freshman year (not as well as I would have hoped):
2 honors classes, a B in French and B+ in honors English in the first semester, all A’s otherwise
GPA: 4.18
Sophomore year
3 honors classes, straight A’s with 2 A-s in honors classes
first semester GPA: 4.40
second semester GPA: 4.67
Planning on junior year: 4 AP’s
Planning on senior year: 5 AP’s + one college credit course

Do a lot of community service, medical clubs, maybe an internship or something…

Also, do A-'s matter?

If I don’t get into Georgetown, does it really matter what undergrad college you go to as long as you do well (if you want to get into a good medical school)?

I can’t answer the med school part, but from what I’ve heard, Georgetown really likes legacies, so I think you have a good shot if you bring your GPA up (try to get all A- and above) and get 1500+ on SAT (to be safe), or 34+ on ACT. I can’t predict too much since you’re only a sophomore, but best of luck!
