<p>I am a URM (half african american, and the other "white" part of my family comes from Egypt.)
At the top high school in the state as well as one of the top high schools nationally, I have a 3.65 unweighted and a 4.0 weighted. I will finish high school with 8 AP and 4 honors classes. I have 5s on all my AP tests, and above 750s on all of my subject tests.
My GPA has been brought down by a bad sophomore year, which I will explain in my admissions essay.
My SAT is about a 2220, hopefully will be brought up to at least a 2250. I have a strong passion in history and english, and will apply as a pre-law major with a minor in journalism. </p>

<p>I have 600 community service hours and multiple leadership positions in and outside of school. I have volunteered with disabled children and have started a non profit organization dedicated to helping disabled girls feel more confident. I am a published poet, play softball, and have recently won a writing competition with a $50,000 scholarship.

<p>If you selected black on your application (which you by all means should have) then I’d say you’re extremely likely to be admitted, since all your other stats are great already. Congratulations on already having such a good scholarship!</p>
