Chances of getting into Georgia Tech?

<p>Currently i am attending Embry Riddle for AE, but do to some circumstanced my parent force me to transfer to Georgia Tech.
Current GPA at Embry Riddle: 2.54 since i mess up in my second semester.

<p>It is very unlikely you would get in honestly. Though it sounds like you have only complete a year of college. I’d complete another year and get significantly higher grades. You have good extracurriculars though. Be sure to get strong professor rec letters too.</p>

<p>Are you OOS (out-of-state)? Tech doesn’t require recommendations, HS transcripts, or standardized testing (only under special circumstances) for transfers. Your chances are low if you’re OOS as Tech has very narrow criteria for admittance, which includes a minimum GPA. This was taken directly from GA Tech’s transfer requirement page, if I were you, I’d read the whole transfer section very closely:</p>

<p>Note that GA Tech does have course requirements to transfer that go towards your major. So, you need to check with Tech that the courses at your current school are transferrable. I think you still have a chance, if you keep As and Bs but absolutely no Cs or only as a last resort.</p>
