I'm a sophomore at Berkeley currently in the process of applying to Haas and I am worried about my chances of getting in because Haas is all I have wanted for about the past 5 years. My GPA is decent, I have a 3.62. My grades in Haas prereqs are:

Math 53: B
Stats 21: A+
UGBA 10: A
Econ: AP exempt
R&C A: AP exempt
R&C B: A

I have fairly decent extracurricular activities, I am a member of 2 clubs (1 business, 1 not) and hold a leadership position in a 3rd (not business). I have a job now and had a job over the summer between freshman and sophomore year. I am involved in community service, I have probably done about 100 hours since starting at Cal. I am also pretty confident that I will be able to write good essays.

What I am mainly worried about is my grade in Econ 101A which I am taking right now. I am likely going to get a C. This class was probably out of my league but I thought challenging myself and taking Econ 101A instead of Econ 1 would look good to Haas admissions officers. However, that decision is proving to bite me in the butt. Other than this one bad grade I have only gotten a B in Math 53 and a B+ in a breadth requirement and the rest of my grades are As.

What are my chances?
