I’ve never heard of anything over 5.0 lolol. Wait, are you both applying to IMSA?? It’d be totally awesome if we all get in

We should all comment on here once we get our letters to see if we’ll see each other next year!!! I’m not too sure about my chances but who knows.

jtfootball, we’re all in the same boat here, haha. I’ve been freaking out as well for the past month. This 2 and a half month wait is ridiculously stressful. I’ll be relieved when the letters arrive, accepted or not.

Tell us about your own application? :)

Don’t tell anyone about their application.

You could get identified this way, you wouldn’t want that on a forum.

I’m fine with talking about my application.

I’m not too worried about being identified through SAT scores and ECs.

A little something called cyber safety. You never know who can be lurking on these sites. And really, you’d be surprised how easily you can be identified by talking about essays, EC’s, and SAT scores. Those together kind of make it clear, especially if it’s not a huge applicant pool.

But don’t let me stop you. By all means, do it.

jxuwyrm, I shall most definitely talk about my application, but thanks for the tip though, mrnephew! I’m a freshman probably just like both of you. 780 SAT math and 620 SAT reading. 4.0 unweighted GPA, probably like 4.333 weighted GPA because of all honors (highest my school offers). My essays and recs were probably alrighty, I mean I think my teachers like me. I have a ton of ECs including math (and awards), JSA, track, and more. I think I’ve gotten like 14+ math/science awards and probably like 8+ math/science activities in the past three years. Then I’ve went to sectionals, conference, and a few invitationals for track. Also, President’s award, school awards from teachers and others (lol I honestly don’t even remember). I think that was basically my application from what I remember.

OH, and also I’m a female Asian from the suburbs which MIIIIGHT put me at a disadvantage (at least, the Asian and suburbs part, not so much the female part - yay for affirmative action!).

Hit me up on what you guys think about my app, and if I’ll be able to get in. :)

AND ALSO, good thing it’s only a month and a half, not two haha. I would be dead by now if it was two.

and mrnephew, is that a pic of you? That’s actually an awesome photo.

Wow, 780 math. That’s amazing.
Your chances of getting in sound pretty good to me, from reading that. Like, really good, actually.

Nope, it’s Harvey Specter from Suits. I’m flattered you think it’s me though.

Can I expect any of you to be attending ICTM State Competition on May 3rd?

Awww thank you so much jxusyrm that’s so nice of you! I’m obviously still having doubts because you never know with IMSA. No to your second question, I’ll probably be sitting in a corner of my room crying for my letter. And mrnephew, I was like thinking that that guy is ridiculously attractive so I was just wondering if it was you haha. If you look anything like that, you know where to find me hahaha.

THANKS AGAIN JXUWYRM, THAT JUST MADE MY DAY. NO ACTUALLY MADE MY LIFE, MY LIFE OKAY.

Shh, calm down. I’m only telling you the truth.
Please don’t cry about your letter before you even get it! I really do think you’ll get in. :)

AHA you’re funny and way too sweet. Don’t tell me to calm down, gosh

Sorry :c

UGHHH I hope I see you guys at IMSA. We HAVE to comment on here whether we make it or not because I really want to see who will be going next year and if I’ll see you. Friends even before the school year – that would be the bomb.com!

There’s orientation as well, don’t forget. :)

Trust me – if I get it, I will definitely remember about orientation haha. Quick question: are you a guy or a girl, just wondering for the roomie situation.

Poo, I’m a guy :P

Lawl, grosss boy cooties hahaha
