Please Help! I am aware that my numbers are not the "Kenyon norm" but I wondered how much you all thought Kenyon places on essays, interviews, and extracurriculars.

Essays: Extremely Strong... at the risk of being seriously judged... I think I'm a good writer and I am pretty happy with how my essays turned out.

Teacher Recommendations: Very good. Written by my Jr year history and english teachers

Counselor Rec: Fine (Probably pretty generic)

Additional Rec: Very Good

State: I am an out of state applicant

School Type: Highly Competitive Public School

Ethnicity: Caucasian

Gender: Female

Strengths: Very good writer. Extremely hard working. I know for a fact both my english and history teachers wrote about my work ethic and writing skills. Very passionate about Kenyon and about my extracurricular and volunteer work. High grades in all english and history classes. I love interviews I have been told I am a compelling and engaged speaker hopefully that will shine through during my interview.

Weaknesses: To quote Ms. Suzy Lee Weiss: "I offer about as much diversity as a saltine cracker." Horrid test taker and B-'s in all of my spanish classes (world languages are unfortunately not my strong suit).
