Curriculum- taking honors english, anthropology, sociology, poetry, cooking, math. and an independent study in psychology (my intended major) where i get to co facilitate groups in my high school (one with juniors one with freshman)</p>

Community Service at an Animal Shelter
Community Service for a local children's theatre

work as a barista at a local coffeeshop 3 days a week</p>

<p>essay was what character do i relate with. i chose Randle McMurphy from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. i talked about how we both went into the mental hospital and how i accept myself and love myself more than ever and how i've been overcoming my Borderline Personality Disorder</p>

<p>i had a personal statement saying how my depression affected my junior year and how i had to put school aside and work on my mental health. that year i went into the mental hospital twice</p>

<p>I’m also volunteering and teaching Dialectical Behavioral therapy skills to kids 9-13. It’s the type of therapy I want to get into so hopefully it will help</p>

<p>Your ACT is a bit low for Fordham and your course load does not seem to be exactly rigorous. </p>

<p>The ACT will hurt. You probably have a 30-40% chance of getting in. Additionally, your course load is pretty darn light (where are the AP Classes?)… but I good luck.</p>

<p>While I’m not an expert, so I can’t properly assess your chances, I just wanted to say that I got into LC with no AP classes and a 27 on the ACT (so you could just improve yours a bit). But don’t let that slow you down.</p>

<p>A score of 26 on the ACT is in Fordham’s 25th percentile (or was last year), which means 25% of admitted students that sent in the ACT had a 26 or lower. Your essay sounds good, as does your personal story.</p>

<p>Overall, you’ve got a decent (but not exceptional) shot. Good luck.</p>
