I am currently a rising senior at a public high school in NW CT. I toured Lehigh yesterday and absolutely love the school. I also toured Northeastern, UCONN, and Brown, but Lehigh is now my first choice easily. I would like to know my chances of getting accepted RD, and if I could receive any aid from them whatsoever.

GPA. Weighted: 101.8, around a 96/97 unweighted. ranked 1st or 2nd among around 250-300 students

Honors classes: by the end of senior year I'll have taken 12

AP: US history, English Language and Comp, no scores until July. Next year I'm taking Bio, Calc BC, and English literature and comp. I have always maintained an extremely rigorous schedule

SAT: 650 math, 690 reading, I know lehigh doesn't look at writing. Took ACTs, just waiting for scores, I'm pretty sure I did better on them than SATs

Sports: Varsity Swimming captain, Varsity tennis might be captain, don't know till spring. I also did a club private swim team for two years

Extracurricular: President of Science Club, (extremely successful club, I put a lot of work into it, we recently had a trip to Costa Rica and studied Biomimicry in the rainforest), secretary of interact club, member of Model UN club (attended Yale Model UN), member of the Mayor's Committee on Youth (community service town board, very selective), three jobs during the summer, two the other seasons. I lifeguard and work at a pizza restaurant. I also am in the concert band, matching band, and jazz band at my school, I take private piano lessons and also play tuba and flute. I am also in the National Honor Society

Volunteer: I do many things through Interact Club and Mayors committee

Hooks: I don't know if this helps or hurts but I am adopted from South Korea an I was thinking of writing my essay about that

Awards: principals award for honors with distinction two years, National Spanish Exam Bronze award, two National Spanish Exam honorable mention awards, the Rennsselaer Medal award, national History Day national finalist and participant, first place in the CT Student innovation competition of biomimicry, there are others but I can't think of them right now haha

My main concern is that my SATs are a little low but I have strong academics and a wide range of extracurriculars. Do you think I should bother with an interview? Also, if I get accepted, I'd like to know my chances of any merit or financial aid. Our income is around 120k but I have a brother in college if that helps.

Thank you!
