Chances of getting into Loomis Chaffee

Hello everyone.
I recently applied to several private schools, and am worring about the probability of being accepted.

I recently applied to Loomis Chaffee as a day student to repeat 10th grade. I currently attend one of the best public high schools in my state, still ranking well when nationally compared. Though I like my current school, I want to make the most of my highschool years.

About me:
-founded the first computer club in my town
-I have sung in many top level choirs since the age of 8
-participate in multiple community service groups through church
-run cross country and track
-could call me a "photographer", though I think of it more as a hobby
-school photographer by invitation during middle school
-currently a photographer for yearbook
-won a product design competition in Computer Aided Design class
-I frequently stop in before and after school to meet with teachers regarding questions from class (they tell me I have a good work ethic)
-my strongest subjects are science, history, and CAD
-all honors classes with a GPA of 3.3
-87th percentile on SSAT, with a 94% on the reading section

I'd greatly appreciate it if you could tell me the likelihood of being admitted.

Thanks for your time,
-Dime

*Note: This is my first post here on CC, so please speak out if I'm doing anything wrong

I don’t think I can chance you since I’m not the admissions office, but I CAN say your photography is amazing

I’m sorry but I looked at the photography and to me it just looks like pictures of random things and changing the camera aperture settings to either focus near or far. Cross country and track is good only if you are good at it. Why are you repeating 10th grade. Did you take the PSAT and what were those results

@buddysmom What’s wrong with taking pictures of random things? As long as they’re good (which they are, by the way) should be enough.
A lot of people repeat a grade for boarding school. Higher chances of admission, and a year extra of the BS experience all make it a plus. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.

As far as chances go, as swimmergirl already stated, no one here can give you an accurate chance, but as far as just looking over your stuff, they all look good. Good luck, I am also an applicant to LC for 10th grade boarding, and it’s a great school.
