I am a rising senior living in Tennessee and hoping to go to LSU next fall. I meet the requirements, actually i exceed them but not by much. I currently have a 24 composite score on the act with subscores of 26 in reading, 24 in math, 24 in english (but my highest is a 25 but that was on a different test and i know that LSU does not superscore), and 22 in science. I have a 3.2 unweighted gpa and a 4.0 weighted. The requirements to be accepted are 22 composite score on act with subscores of 18 in English and 19 in math. I am not involved in many extracirrculars, i played JV volleyball freshmen year, i did choir for 2 years, I've done Spanish for 3 years, make a wish club for 3 years, Spanish honor society for 2 years, and student council for 3 years. i also volunteer at the local animal shelter. My dad lives in Louisiana but i do not, other than possibly receiving in state tuition do you think my dad living in Louisiana increases my chances of getting in? So my question is, although I do meet the requirements, I am scared that because I don't have an exceedingly high ACT score or gpa, do you think my chances of getting in are good? Please be honest. Thanks!
