Chances of getting into Manchester university help

Hi, I'm currently a U.S. student. I have a 3.0 gpa and a 22 on the ACT test. I want to study radiology. If it makes any difference, I'm a U.S. and U.K Citizen. I was just wondering how good of a University Manchester is.

Here is the page where the University of Manchester discusses entry requirements for American students:

[Information for students from - entry requirements | The University of Manchester](<a href=“| Information for students from the US | The University of Manchester”>Entry requirements | Information for students from the US | The University of Manchester)

Manchester is an excellent university (and no, I’m not just saying this because I’m biased!). It is Russell Group (broadly equivalent to Ivy League / AAU depending on how you look at it, and tends to rank in the top 40 worldwide

Is radiology an NHS funded course? If so, that could be a spanner in the works with regards to studying radiology anywhere in the UK, because you will be an international student.

If it is not NHS funded then you’re chances of getting in are pretty high, aiming you get the grades

I am somewhat puzzled as I am unable to find this course listed for either Manchester Uni or MMU. There is an MSc Medical Imaging course at MMU which lists the requirements for UK students. It is a post grad course. Does this help?

If you check the course guide on the UCAS site you will find a number of unis are still accepting applications for non EU countries for both diagnostic radiography (also called medical imaging) and for therapeutic radiography starting in 2013. They include some of the unis which are better known abroad.

Just a warning - they won’t offer you much in terms of financial aid. I’m a British citizen who has not lived in the UK for at least three years before commencing studies and I’m not getting any support at all. I will also be paying international fee’s.
