<p>I want to sign up for 16A during my phase II, which is coming up soon, but the sections are pretty much full right now. If I put myself on the wait list, will I have a fairly good shot at getting into the class?</p>
<p>Looking at the seat availability right now on schedule.berkeley.edu, it looks like there’s 30 on waitlist for 25 seats. I think there would be a good chance getting in if you’re having Phase II soon. What I’ve heard in the past that they might open up more spots for people who need to take the class, especially since there is only one lecture option. However, if you do get in, you’ll probably have settle for what discussion time you can get. But I would say you have a good shot of getting into the class, especially since there will be people dropping through the semester and before spring starts.</p>
