Chances of getting into medical school

Hi, I’m currently stressing about getting into medical schools and I was wondering if I can get some insight in my changes of getting into med school with my current GPA. I’m currently at a 3.5 overall and approximate 3.2 science GPA. I have’t taken the MCAT yet but with that GPA what should I aim for?
Also I have around 200 volunteering hours and around 150 clinical hours. I still have around 4 semester left that I’m planning to start shadowing and research.

Very low, what state are you?

Florida

It may take a few years but persistence pays off.

Have you considered osteopathic (DO) medical schools? The average GPA was 3.65 and sGPA was 3.45 for osteopathic matriculants last cycle.

LECOM-Bradenton (private school) favors in-state FL applicants. (65% instate)

Your sGPA. is currently not competitive for MD programs.

Unless you can raise your GPA/sGPA substantially in the next 2 years, you may need a post-bacc or SMP if you want a MD degree.
