I'm going into my junior year with a 3.6 at one of the best public schools in CT. I'm in all honors classes and one AP class (I can take more AP senior year). I volunteer at my church during the summer, I have a job during the school year, I participate in 4 clubs at my school and am the president of 2 other clubs (6 clubs in total). I'm also trying to start up a charity through my town outside of school to help inner city family's. I just wanted to know what my chances are and maybe what I can do to improve my chances.

Also my sophomore GPA was much higher than my freshman one and 3.6 is unweighted

:)

No score no chance.

Do you mean you wanna know my sat/act scores

Yes.

Also, is that 3.6 your weighted or unweighted GPA?

Unweighted and my ACT is 30. Idk my SAT

With a 3.6 and 30, your chances at these schools as an out of state applicant:

Michigan - Low Reach
Texas - Low reach
UW - High Match
PSU - Match
Florida - Low match

Texas is becoming really tough on OOS applicants. It isn’t a better school than UW academically; just becoming harder to get into.

These are all good schools. You can get a good education and have a blast at any of them.

Both my parents went to PSU also so that’s who I grew up loving. Thank you very much for the information

Michigan - Low Reach to reach (GPA too low, ACT at or below 25%, oos)
Texas - Low reach
UW - High Match

Your folks took the blue pill; maybe you can take the red pill (UW) instead. ;-)

Obviously the best thing that you can do is to maintain your EC’s while raising your ACT and GPA…I think that you have a good chance at these schools! Best of luck…chance me?
