Chances of getting into MIT or Caltech?

Hello, one and all,

Yes, you heard right, I want to go to one of these schools, and hopefully lead a life that doesn't completely suck. I am in tenth grade, with a 4.1 weighted GPA and a 3.88 unweighted. I aspire to become a roboticist. I also was lucky enough to end up with Asperger's Syndrome (sarcasm), and live in a distant, harsh land called Alabama. I have yet to take the SAT or the real ACT, but I scored a 25 out of 32 on the ACT PLAN test if that means anything at all.

I'm sure it is completely obvious, but I have absolutely no clue what to do now. This is a constant source of anxiety for me, because I don't especially love having my life rely on a piece of paper, and I would love some guidance if you fine people have any.

Thanks,

I forgot to add that I am in the top 20 students of my class, which is composed of around 300-400 students. It makes me very sad that I am not in the top ten.

As for extracurricular activities, I am a member of the Quiz Bowl team, the Technology Student Association (technology club), and the Boy Scouts for some reason.

I hope this helps some.

With no real score, we can’t say anything about you.

My advice to you is try to start a business about robots or whatever you want to major while you’re in high school, and make a lot of money. This will distinguish you from the crowd and your chances will rise significantly vs having good grades and no note worthy ECs.
