I am wondering my chances of getting into schools like Northwestern University, Boston College, University of Michigan, Georgetown University, University of Virginia, and University of Notre Dame.

I am a senior in a suburban, private, all-girls Catholic high-school. I currently have a 4.0 GPA (unweighted) and am an IB Diploma candidate (taking 6 IB classes).
ACT: 32 composite

My extra-curriculars include:
Cross Country/Track - 3 years
French Club secretary (junior) and vice president (senior)
French Scrabble captain (senior)
Agape club - 2 years
Fellowship of Christian Athletes - 3 years
I won't bore you with the rest of my activities - you get the idea.

I was inducted into the National Honor Society and the French National Honor Society at my school. I have volunteered at a local children's hospital for 3 years (75+) hours. I also went on a service trip to a needy part of the country. I organized a coat drive for this community and raised 1500 lbs. of clothing. I also bake goods for the bereavement committee at my parish.

I think you have a great chance. Your GPA, ACT and EC’s are really spot on. All you need is a great essay that makes you stand out. I wouldn’t worry too much about not getting in, I’d worry about making a decision on which school to apply to! Quite honestly, I think you have a good chance at every school you listed. Good luck!

I agree with the rest- You seem to be a perfect fit for all those schools. Based on your grades and EC’s you have a great chance to get into all of them. Writing a really good essay will be the cherry on top :)

I agree with everyone here, you are a very strong candidate for any of the schools you listed, don’t worry, write a good essay and you will get in :).
