An honest answer at my chances would be amazing! Thanks so much :)

If you are able to raise your scores significantly, you will have a chance, but it will still be a reach. At 1920, your SAT is below the middle 50% for ND and at 31 your ACT is at the 25th percentile. Your EC’s don’t show anything that compelling or unusual. As a barometer, my daughter applied EA last year with a 4.0, 2250, broader and deeper EC’s, great essays, great recs (both teacher and GC are Domers), and was deferred then accepted and is currently attending ND. Good luck!

Do you have a specific score in mind (preferably for ACT, because I’ve found I do best on that test) that, in regards to everything else on my resume, would be a good number to place me in the ranks of other competitive applicants?

Might look at Holy Cross-very good school near Boston. HC is a smaller version of ND and easier to get into-both great schools.

Regarding the ACT score, my guess is that a 33-34 would put you where you would need to be.

ND is probs better’n Holy Cross for job placement and overall recognizablility.

UPDATE: For anyone still wishing to chance me, I’ve received my most current SAT scores. CR: 730, M: 620, TOTAL: 1350. I intend on retaking both SAT and ACT in an effort to boost my math scores.
