Chances of getting into NYU Stern ED?

<p>What are my chances of getting into stern with these stats?</p>

<p>I'm taking the IB Diploma at the International School of Beijing</p>

<p>Courses: Higher level math, econ, and A2 chinese. Standard level english, chem, and music.</p>

<p>SAT reasoning: 2040
620 Reading 780 Math 640 Writing</p>

<p>SAT II Math: 800</p>

<p>GPA: 3.93 (Weighted)</p>

<p>Extra Curricular:
Piano (13 years), Varsity Track and Field (3 years), Nightingale, volunteer at orphanage, tutoring chinese for elementary children, Choir (1 year), JV Volleyball Captain, Volunteer at U.S. – China Cultural Exchange Committee</p>

<p>Awards:
- Year 10 – Student of the Year Award (London)
-10th Grade – Choir award
-11th Grade – Coach’s Choice award (Volleyball), 3 gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal (Track and Field)</p>

<p>Teacher rec: should be very good
College essay: should be fine as well</p>

<p>What are my chances? I really want to go to stern!</p>

<p>I think your CR score might be a bit on the low side, as well as your ECs… But then again since you’re paying full tuition you will be at a serious advantage esp at a school like NYU</p>

<p>NYU in general cares about numbers because its a larger school (No offense to NYU admissions) most large school do too.</p>
