What would be considered a "safe" average for NYU?

Anticapted results. Too bad we can't all submit our anticapated results M800 W800 CR 800.

Whenever someone posts anticipated results of standardized tests, I question their maturity level and tend to downgrade their chances as I expect that the teacher recs may make a similiar observation.

okay thnx for nothing ppl ^^ i'll just laugh at ur faces when i get my results in a week

btw u guys didnt even help at all

Which, once again, raises the maturity issue. Your score of 1290/1600 is a solid score for NYU so long as you are not applying to Stern or the talent based Tisch School. Overall, however, you are not a particularly strong candidate. Your odds will be increased if you do not need financial aid, and decreased if you do, in my opinion. Boston University might be of interest to you.

Boston University: The School of NYU Rejects

It's my 3rd choice, haha. And correction, results are in little over two weeks. :)

Good luck man! I also got a 1290 in May (680 CR 610 M) and I am anticipating nothing less than a 3000 baby.

once again, not helping:D

Nyu : School of columbia rejects

noghi_14,
honestly, how old are you?
i'm sorry but you're just going to have to push your maturity level up a little.

^ Agreed, learn some people skills man.

your average is a bit low but it's Canadians so i dont know. i think the average for freshman is around 3.6-3.8, you will have to check for it. SATs arent as important as your grades but higher scores are better than nothing.
