Chances of getting into NYU...

hiiii I'm in the hopes of applying to NYU (im going into my sophomore year in highschool.. and i want to know what areas you think I should improve to ensure a spot at NYU in the future.. so please just tell me if my extra activities and classes taken give me a good chance.. i haven't taken sat's yet so just base your estimate on these factors:

extras:
school newspaper
key club
model UN
president/founder of my own club
a lot of community service outside of school
play piano/clarinet

advance classes taken already:
soc honors, ap american, college law

advance classes hopefully taken in the future:
ap bio, ap english 11, ap english 12, ap phyc

i have an A in all my classes but a C in math.. please your feedback is very important to me!! just tell me where i should improve or whats good

It will be harder for people to chance you since you don’t have an SAT score yet. A representative from NYU told me that the transcript is considered very important in the admissions process. That C will look very bad next to all the other A’s, it’ll really stand out. But what’s done is done. Just try to get A’s in the rest of your classes and maybe they’ll overlook it. If there were any extraneous circumstances that caused you to get this grade, you might want to explain in the “additional info” section of your application.
