Chances of getting into Penn State?

I’m going into my junior year this fall so I’m trying to sort out which schools I’d want to go to/had a chance at.
I want to go to Penn State for Computer Science.
Currently my GPA is about 3.4, unweighted. My course load is okay, I’ll have 5 AP credits (APUSH, AP Euro, AP Bio, and then English 11 and 12) and I’m taking IB Spanish. All of my other core classes are honors, and I’m getting honors credit for my band classes I take (I have a feeling that they don’t count that, though). I really really REALLY am going to try to get a 4.0 GPA next year and my senior year (it seems out of reach but I know I’m capable).
For extracurriculars, I’m in marching band. (does it matter than I’m a section leader? Will colleges aknowledge that?) I’ll be in National Honors Society once my time comes. I’ll also be volunteering at the aquarium next spring.
My PSAT score was around 190ish (I can’t remember).

So… what are my chances? And what can I do to increase these chances?

I think if you get in the A range for most of your classes next year you should be fine. They typically value your GPA much over everything else.

Those stats are really good. Yes, colleges do care about being a section leader in the marching band, and make sure to market yourself! you have amazing achievements ! don’t be shy
