So I recently applied to Pitt’s school of nursing two weeks ago. Some people from my school who applied a month ago started hearing back from pitt this week, which made me anxious. My gpa is in the 3.9s and I’m in the top 10-15% of my class. I took and am taking plenty of honors and AP classes. However, my highest SAT score is a 1260. I indicated on my application that I’m retaking the SATs next month and sent in the 1260 score a week ago. I was wondering if that score could deter my chances of getting accepted, especially since it’s the school of nursing?
I believe the top of the middle range of scores for the nursing school was about 1340 so a 1260 should be right in the middle. Though if you indicated you’re sending in another score, they may not make a decision until you send in the next score so don’t worry if you don’t hear back from them for awhile. Best of luck! @carlymelenoski
