chances of getting into Pitt

i am a highchool junior in illinois
i want to major in neuroscience but then i realized id have more job opportunities with a double major in bio and psych

GPA- 3.6 ( hopefully i can get it to a 3.7 )

ACT - 25 the first time im aiming for a 28

i have taken all honors classes since the beginning and we only start AP classes in junior year so i only have 2 right now but next year i plan on taking 4 or 5

EC: basket ball 2 years, crosscountry( started this year so ill be in it next year so basically varsity for 2 years), soccer (will be) 4 years with 3 years on varsity 1 club in school, 1 club out of school, junior national society of black engineers

i really want to get into this school i might visit during the summer

If you are able to get your ACT up to at least a 28, 29 or higher is better then you have a good chance to get accepted, especially if you apply early. I was accepted into Pitt for biomedical engineering with a 3.5 unweighted GPA (weighted 4.30) and ACT of 29, I had 6 APs and many ECs.

Are you in-state?
Right now high-match, up the ACT a little and you will be good.

im OOS but thank you guys!

I got into Pitt and the Honors College with a 3.4 UW, 2030 SAT (660CR, 700M, 670WR), and 6 APs, and a ton of ECs/leadership, I think you’ll get in for sure!!

If you are OOS it will be a little harder to get in, but you should still be okay…

Hocylen, do you know what your SAT converts to as an ACT? We only normally take ACT here /:

bumppppppppppppppp
