You’re really strong in all areas, but it’s really a toss-up for everyone. I would suggest you spend a LOT of time on your essays and make those really unique. Get input on them, as most kids really don’t know what colleges are looking for in those…also GO EARLY at one of your choices - or ED somewhere, along with whatever EA’s work for your list. This is important! Get your application(s) in well before November 1. Choose your recommendation people carefully. I would say your GPA is a little low, but that may work for your high school. Class rank will be important, as well. Admissions for the Class of 2011 were really scary and my guess is the Class of 2012 will have similar results. Zero in and get your act together early.

Notre Dame is amazing…I would suggest you add that to your EA list.

Okay ill probly visit there soon. What would be some good schools that Id most likely get into?

also my gpa is UW 3.87 out of 4.0 if you dont count freshman year…which I have heard princeton doesn’t?

Probably close to a match for Gtown and Vandy, and Princeton is a reach for almost everybody. Make sure to apply to at least a couple more matches and a couple-three safeties.

Truthfully, you’re scores are low, your classes are weak, and you have done too many ec’s without focusing too much upon any of them. You need to increase SAT scores to at least 2300, take a few more AP’s (making sure to get 5’s in them), and drop some ec’s while becoming extremely good at the few that you keep. Gtown and Vandy are easy to get into so you’ll probably make them, but you’re very far from Princeton. As a sophmore, I have already scored higher on the SAT and taken more AP’s as well as gotten all 5’s in them than you have, and yet I’m still doubt I’m going to get in. Basically, increase scores and narrow put also focus upon your ec’s and you might just have a chance.
