Also I'm from Nashville, Tennessee. I don't know if that helps or not.

I don’t think you are providing enough information… Purdue is a quite selective school…You certainly have a lot of AP classes, but if you want to major in engineering, shouldn’t there be more science classes instead of humanities? Your GPA and standardized tests are okay, but doesn’t stand out. And once again, I see nothing related to engineering in your extracurricular activities, how would Purdue know that you are passionate about what you are going to do?

My second choice would be an economics major. What do you think my chances are of getting in with that? I tried to find a class profile of students with business majors at Purdue but couldn’t. I appreciate your feedback

Purdue engineering is not too hard to get in, but to stay in. Nevertheless, your stateis a little bit on the low side.

but i go to a top 100 high school and the number 2 in the state

@KatyHWQ
Purdue is not a “quite selective school” at all. It consistently has an acceptance rate >60%.

@benace123
You have a pretty good chance of being accepted, in my opinion.

I dont mean to be pushy @billcsho but ive been really anxious about this lately. Can i get a prediction on getting accepted to Purdue for with an economics major and also a prediction for engineering

@wanna, acceptance is basically 60% for the university as a whole, but is lower for engineering. I know a kid with a 3.4 weighted/1900 SAT who got rejected. It’s in the “midway” point between selective and nonselective. That being said, the OP should get admitted.

I think you should be a match to high match for econ and high match to low reach for engineering oos.

Thanks a lot. I really appreciate it. This stuff just gets me sobanxious.

Guys please chance me! Responses appreciated.
