Chances of getting into Purdue University

Hi, I am an international student graduating this year.
And if would be real thankful if you guys give some advice to me.

So I wanted to know my chances of getting into Purdue University.

Unfortunately, I had to submit my application this weekend (2/14/2011), which I realized is a disadvantage for me..

Anyways, these are my test scores and GPA.

By the way, I chose to major Electrical & Computer Engineering. (I know this is a very competitive major but I really want to study in this field.)

SAT Scores:Math 750
Reading 590
Writing 610

SAT II Socres: Math II 750
Korean w/ Listening 800

GPA: 3.69
1st Semester 2nd Semester
9th Grade GPA: 3.00 2.50
10th Grade GPA: 4.00 4.00
11th Grades GPA: 4.13 4.13
12th Grade GPA: 4.13 X

I came to the states my sophomore year and recieved all A's.
But the problem is the grades from the school I used to attend back in my home country.
I did not want to study and did not have specific goals back then.
But I realized the importance of studying and decided to study in the states.
And when I came to the states, I really pushed myself hard, recieving good grades.
Would my freshman grades hurt me alot?

Activities: ASB (Associated Student Body), Varsity Soccer, CSF, NHS, NEHS.

What is your unweighted GPA?

I just calculated it and it came out as 3.625

Unweighted only matters and yes, It hurt you.

So what would you say about the chances of me getting into the School?

The average is a 3.45 just to get in Purdue, not even considering the engineering aspect, it’s a reach with those SAT scores.

they will not regard at your freshmen year grades highly if you have an upward trend, however, your last 3 grades look really inflated. Moreover, I’ve seen people with 1500 SATs went into Engineering and 1900s that didn’t. This is really hard to say and largely depended on other factors. But I would recommend you apply to their First year undergraduate studies program then transfer to engineering(though not guaranteed for transferring).

BTW, do you know your rank?
