Chances of getting into Reed (ED)?

I am a high school Junior thinking of applying to Reed ED next year

GPA: 3.23 unweighted
SAT: 1930 (CR: 690, Math: 630, Writing: 610)

Next year I will be in all honors and AP Biology (wasn't able to take APs before next year because of requirement restrictions)

ECs:
Philosophy Club (member for 2 years, president for current year)
Jazz Band (Alto Saxophone, 2 years)
Politics Club (1 year)
Liturgy Committee (1 year)
Tutored Middle Schoolers for one year, thinking of doing it again

study hard for the sat. I think you’ll need 2250+ for a good shot

IMO, you don’t need 2250+ for a good shot. Reed doesn’t really place much emphasis on SAT scores. What’s really important is your Why Reed essay and interview.

Your GPA is a bit low for the average Reedie’s, and so’s your SAT score. While it’s not essential that you be perfect, I do think you need to visibly improve.
If you do improve, then with great essays I think you could get in.
