My 10-12 gpa is 3.71 and my Sat on the 1600 scale is 1140.
Sophomore year I had an overall gpa of 3.64, however second semester I had a 3.86.
Junior year I had an average gpa of 3.84, I took AP Language and Composition, Chemistry, and Precalc.
My senior year I am taking two AP's.
I definitely have an upwards trend with my gpa, do they consider this?
I live in California but not near San Diego.

According to their website the average gpa was 3.82 and average sat was 1150. My sat score is close to this but my gpa is not as close.

Have you calculated your CSU GPA? See link: <a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>Cal State Apply | CSU;

Noticed you posted on another thread as a Psych major. SDSU had a 29.9% acceptance rate for Psych, similar to many of the Engineering and Stem majors Adcoms look favorably at upward trends in GPA. The average GPA of 3.82 is the CSU GPA (weighted) and SAT of 1159. If you calculate your CSU GPA then you can calculate your Eligibility index for SDSU.

(CSU GPA (weighted) x800) + (SAT CR + SAT Math). If you are around 4100+, then your chances are good.

My CSU gpa is 3.71

Your EI is 4108 which just makes the threshold (unpublished info from doing research on internet) from last year. The threshold depends on each years applicant pool, so I would say you are a High Match. Good luck.

Do you think they will consider my challenging senior year schedule?

I’m taking AP Biology and AP Calc

Yes, they will consider course rigor but with impacted majors, they will use the EI to rank applicants for each major. They then start accepting from the highest EI until all seats are filled. Much will depend upon the applicant pool this year in determining the thresholds. Psych is one of the most popular majors at all schools. Just make sure you have a few backup schools on your list.
My younger son currently attends SDSU as a Freshman. When he applied last year, average CSU GPA for SDSU was a 3.76 and average SAT was 1120, so the Stats have gone up from the year before.
