Chances of getting into schools?

Hi guys, what do you guys think are my chances of getting into these schools?
University of Michigan (Ann Arbor)
Yale
Princeton

-unweighted GPA of 3.9
- after senior year, i will have a total of 8 APs.
-Varsity soccer for 4 years and I'm going to be a co-captain my senior year. All-state player.
- ACT score= 33
- SAT subject: Math= 800 Bio= 720
- worked 1 year at a part-time job
- 2 years in National Honor Society
- 1 year in school yearbook
- 2 years in our school's business club (state qualifier)
- 1 year as a student representative in a community organization

That's all I got, haha :p Thanks!

Your ECs are a LITTLE weak, but otherwise, you look great :)

UMich Ann Arbor: mid match
Yale: mid reach
Princeton: mid reach

Good luck!

GPA is excellent. ACT is good (although I would take it one more time just to see if you can improve). ECs are a bit weak.

Mich- Match (I think you’ll get in, especially if you’re in state)
Yale- Mid Reach
Princeton- Mid Reach

Chance me if you want

Why not throw Harvard in there?:D

You would be match for UMich. What is your intended major?

Yale and Princeton would be reaches unless you are being recruited. UMich would be a match if you are in-state and apply EA. Otherwise it might be a bit reachy. I know a kid who applied this year RD, was OOS, had an ever so slightly better resume than you, and was waitlisted.

umich should be a match
yale-reach
princeton-reach

For UMich, it really depends on your intended major to be a match or high match disregarding the acceptance rate.

UMI: Match/High match
Princeton: Reach
Yale: Reach

For Princeton or Yale, everything depends on whether the coaches at each college still want you.

my major will most likely be business, if that helps.

haha yeah my ECs are a little weak, but it’s too late now i suppose because i’m going to be a senior

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1533018-chance-me-please-i-chance-back.html

UMich (instate) - match
UMich (out of state) - high match
Yale - reach
Princeton - reach

honestly, if you’re not looking for fantastic ECs because its “too late” then that may not reflect well on you in the app. They want to see what you plan to do as well. and there are a lot of fantastic opportunities for business that aren’t school-related that will help you stand out and show colleges that you didn’t do them all for college apps and are seriously interested in business :D

because if you are applying to really selective schools, they will evaluate students across the country, many of whom have extracurriculars like yours. so you’ll have to stand out somehow :)

gl and please chance me back :D

Ross at UMich is very competitive. You probably would not get pre-admitted, but you should be a match for LSA. You may try to get in as sophomore although it is still very competitive.

any suggestions on how to improve ECs?

Hey fellow soccer player, could you possibly get recruited?

Is IU-Kelley an option for a safety?

i don’t think i’m gonna play soccer in college, so recruitment is out of the picture

Catria: i’ve never considered iu-kelly before, but i would say michigan state would definitely be a safety for me

bumpppppppp

Yale - high reach
Princeton - high reach
UMich - high match/match depending if you’re in-state
