I just sent in my application to South Carolina's Honors College as an out-of-state applicant, and I have never been so nervous. I have a 33 composite ACT, am number 3 in my class of 600, and have a 5.1667 weighted GPA (4.0 un-weighted). I have been Vice-President of my class twice, President and Editor-in-Chief of the school's literary magazine for three years, coached a little league basketball team for three years, and have been captain of my varsity lacrosse team, among other activities.

I am pretty proud of my high school accomplishments, but the caliber of kids at my school are unbelievable, so rejection has been pretty common for applications for awards at my school. South Carolina' s Honors College is my first choice, as with many other good students at my school.

I guess I was just wondering what my chances would be for admission. Any advice or comments would be appreciated! Thank you!
