So I really want to get into a top tier graduate school (preferably Stanford) when I finish my undergraduate. I'm a dual Electrical Engineering and Computer Science major with an emphasis on Robotics. During my undergraduate, I've published two research papers at well known robotics conferences. I have one year before I graduate, and I currently have a 4.0 GPA (okay 3.98 because of a humanities course freshman year :P). I also plan on publishing at least one more research paper at the end of this summer. The reason I'm worried is that my undergraduate is being completed at a relatively unknown university (just barely top 200), it is ABET accredited. I'm also not part of the Honors program at my school; although I am a member of the engineering honor society. I'm just curious if anyone has any insight about how likely someone like me is to get accepted to the PhD program along with a paid research assistantship at a place like Stanford? I also haven't taken the GRE yet but expect to score perfect or near perfect in Quantitative and above average in verbal.

bump.

Anyone have any insight? Thanks in advance.

Also I graduated from high school with a 1.7 GPA and never took the SAT or ACT will this matter when applying?

ofcourse not
i know people who never even went to high school or took any of those stupid exams and got into top schools
u should just apply;you have a good chance

just that i dont know how you can ger a 4.0gpa and 1.7 gpa at the same time
