Chances of getting into Syracuse?

<p>I'm a senior, from Long Island, NY. Syracuse is my top choice so I'm strongly considering applying Early Decision. Can someone tell me what my chances of getting into SU are if I do/ don't do Early Decision?
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Gender: Female
GPA: 3.37 (My grades show a steady increase)
Class Rank: 100/330 (top 50%)
SAT: Critical Reading: 600, Math: 490, Writing: 660- Combined: 1090, Total: 1750
ACT: 26 (I plan to take it once more in October)
Extracurriculars: Secretary of Class of 2011, President of Drama Club (also, treasurer last year, actor, and director), Director and performer of 2 variety shows at my school, Vice-President of Italian Club, member of women's select choir, NYSSMA participant, singer of my school's Jazz Band, stage crew and judge for my school's version of "American Idol", Senator of TASK (student government for the whole school)
I have a decent amount of out of school activities and community service, as well.
4 years of math (Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II/Trig, & Applied Statistics)
4 years of english (English 10ENR, English 11ENR, AP Lit, & AP Comp)
4 years of history (World History ENR, World History II ENR, US History ENR, AP Gov)
4 years of science (Bio, Earth Science, Chem, Forensics
4 years of foreign language (Italian II, III, IV, CAP Italian)
3 years of science lab (Bio, Earth Science, Chem)
Electives: Choir, Orchestra, Performing Arts, Music Theory I, Psychology, Forensics, Stats</p>

<p>Which school at Syracuse are you applying for ED and what are you putting as your second choice?</p>

<p>College of Visual and Performing Arts, for the Setnor School of Music (I’m interested in music education.) And I’m not quite sure about my second choice, probably either theatre or psychology.</p>

<p>I think that Setnor is an audition program, but if not, you look good for ED…</p>

<p>not sure about RD into that program, specifically…</p>

<p>theatre is definitely an audition program; psych is in arts and science…</p>

<p>set up an interview either way at Lubin House in NYC…</p>

<p>Okay, thank you for replying so quickly! Setnor does require an audition- I requested an audition on Oct. 22- the first audition date. And I believe if you apply ED to Setnor they work with admissions. So do you think applying ED would definitely help my chances? I more than likely will set up an interview.</p>

ACT- will take in dec
SAT math 2c- 790
SAT language- 800
mostly honor classes, 1 AP class in junior yr (chem), 1 AP class in senior year (calc)
many community services (sophomore year, junior year) treasurer and vice president in club (sophomore & junior year)
overall gpa- around 3.5 out of 4 or 90.7 out of 100.
im going for mathematics or economics</p>
