Chances of getting into T14?

I'm a black history major at Yale undergrad currently with a 3.57 GPA and a 159 LSAT. I'm taking the LSAT again in October, but any idea of how likely it would be for me to get into places like Columbia, Harvard, UPenn, etc? Also, does anyone know what the average LSAT scores for black T14 applicants are?

25th-75th percentiles of LSAT/GPA at T14 schools are all pretty easy to look up online. Your URM status will help, but it will not make up for your numbers. Law school admissions is largely a numbers game. Unfortunately, your GPA is pretty low and your LSAT even more so. The GPA is probably more or less cemented by now, so if you're looking to make it into a T14 school, my guess is you'll need a 167 or higher. If you're shooting for a school in the T5, the LSAT would probably have to be something like a 173 or higher.

There's a sortable database here with 75/25 numbers for LSAT and GPA:
2009 Raw Data Law School Rankings : School (Ascending)

Your GPA isn't bad, particularly from Yale. It's above the 25th percentile for many of the top 14 schools.

The 25th percentile border for the LSAT for the top 14 ranges from about 170for Yale to 163 for Boalt (where admissions are more heavily GPA-weighted than most).

Most schools don't release separate info on LSAT scores for black students, but it's my impression that 159 may put you in the running. Improving your LSAT score even a few points could improve your odds substantially.
