I am a junior at a 6A high school in Texas. My rank is 52 out of 546 (top 9.52%). My PSAT is a 1330 (630 reading/writing and 700 math). Highest SAT (Reading-600 Math-690 Writing-560). I’ve also looked at the average SAT scores of students at TAMU and I’m higher than average on all subjects. I am a vice president and president/founder of two other clubs. I am in National Honor Society. I’ve volunteered hundreds of hours at a variety of museums and child camps. I am taking 5 AP classes this year and on the distinguished graduation path. I feel as if my rank will drop which will take me out of top 10% admissions. Also I half qualify for the academic admission. I am in top 25% but my SAT is only ten points away from the auto admit criteria. I don’t know how well I did on the New SAT. So yeah if worse comes to worse, what are my chances for review admissions at TAMU and getting into the Construction Science program?
