I just wanted to see if there was any sort of chance of me getting into Temple. It is my first college choice. After Temple, every other college is kind of on the backburner. My freshman year I went to a Devon Preparatory School, and I simply did not want to be there, so I struggled with focus. I transferred my sophomore year and started to get back on track. Since my gpa was so bad freshman year, it's been hard to bring back up but here are my scores.

GPA: 2.8

SAT:1070/1600 1650/2400
Writing- 580
Critical Reading- 610
Math- 460

I've already applied, but I'm planning on taking my ACT within the next month so I'll send that in asap. Also, I've been told that my personal statement is extremely well done. Lets hope so.

do your best to continue getting good grades this semester and defintiely take the ACT. if you can, take the SAT again and work on your math section. the SAT question of the day is great practice. i think you’ll probably get in.

I agree with mmidkiff28, retake the SATs and send Temple your grades from your Fall 2012 semester as well so they will have a better understanding of the type of student you are now and not the student you were.

Please consider joining the Temple University Class of 2017 page if you are a potential student, accepted student, or parent of a child interested in Temple University for useful information to incoming freshman and the chance to meet your classmates ahead of time
