<p>junior about to be a senior in high school with a gpa of a 2.7 . its about to be a 2.8 by the end of this year. my sat score is a 1200. im taking the sat again on june 7th. i am going to apply around september or october next year. im in ap history and next year im taking ap goverment/economics, duel credit english, and ap computer science.</p>

Is your SAT score just critical reading + math?</p>
<p>on critical reading i got 420, on math i got 480, and on writing i got 400. the sat score i posted was all three of them combined</p>

I don’t know your class rank, so I can’t give advice on that. However, I can give you a few tips.
Study for the SAT (or ACT) over the summer.
At this point, you can’t improve your GPA, but you CAN improve your SAT. Take it again next semester as many times as possible, and try to get the best score that you can.
Also, write the best essays that you’ve ever made.
Remember that, even if you do this, you’re very likely to get into the Blinn TEAM program and, with some luck, to Texas A&M’s Gateway program.
If you don’t… rejection is very likely instead.
edit: Also, that’s a 1300, not a 1200!</p>
