<p>Chances of getting into Texas A&M? </p>

<p>Top 15% of my class at a competitive school
weighted GPA: 3.98
unweighted GPA: 3.5
SAT: 1210 (math + cr)
ACT: 28</p>

<p>I also do NHS, Student Council, Spanish Club, some volunteering, have done football and track, and i participate in the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps (outside of school)</p>

<p>I already applied, I would just like to know what y'all think my chances of getting into Texas A&M are.

<p>Quick question: what were your subscores for Math and CR? I’ve been told that if you have a minimum of both 600 on math and CR each, you have automatic admission (you are also automatically admitted if you are in top 10%).</p>

<p>I had a 670 on math and 550 on reading. but I believe you need a combined 1300 with a minimum of 600 in each each. which I don’t qualify for…</p>

<p>I’m no expert, but I think you will get in, especially because you applied early. It is easier to get in early in the process. I hope you had good essays that showed a “passion” for the university and your military extracurricular will help you. Are you applying for the Corps? I think that helps also. I am an Aggie and my daughter is there now (stats only slightly better than you). Other daughter is currently applying right now. Gig’em!</p>
