Chances of getting into the University of Washington??

A little about myself.

Im currently a senior in high school. Ive played baseball and lettered 3 years and have one more season to go. I was 2nd team all league pitcher last year and was awarded team MVP. I played football my freshman and sophomore year. During my frosh and beginning of my sophomore year i slacked a little bit and had two Cs but now into the end of my junior year and have straight A's. I'm the president of our FBLA club and secretary to National Honor Society. Im also in Skills USA and Link crew (which is like welcoming freshmans to the high school). I have a 3.67 gpa which is alright and a 1550 sat. I have about 150 volunteer hours and volunteer at the boys and girls club.

My personal statement is pretty good. My student counselor is using it to show other students as an example. Ive sent in my application for next year but am freakin out if im going to get in. What is your opinion.... good chance or no?

I live in Washington, and I’d say I have a fairly good projection of how hard it is to get in.
Nearly everyone in my school applies to UW since it’s not a bad school, and it’s really close.

If you’re out of state, it’ll be easier for you to get in.
Your SAT score is pretty low. Most people who apply generally have 1900+. Normally that wouldn’t be too big of a deal, but your GPA is not quite high enough to cushion it.
That might be the deciding factor between whether or not you can get in. Your extracurriculars are alright, though.
For you, I’d say it’s a low reach.

Best get 1900+ (or 28+ if planning on doing the ACT) and then it will no longer be a reach.

Can someone chance me as well?!
I’m also a junior at a very competitive high school in the bay area, california.
My sophomore year grades were not good at all because of personal family issues, but there is an upward trend in my gpa.

SAT: 2190 CR: 760 W: 700 M: 730
ACT: Taking this spring
SAT II: Chinese: 760, Taking Bio, US History, and Math level 2 before the school year ends. Aiming for at least a 780, 760, and 780 respectively.
GPA: 3.4 UW, 3.64 W
AP: Chinese (5), APUSH, APBiology,
*currently enrolled, taking exam this may
Anticipated senior schedule

-AP Econ
-AP Calc BC

-Photography

this summer, i’m planning on volunteering at Stanford Hospital and tutoring kids in math.
I also have around 200 community service hours.

Last summer, I took Psychology at a local community college and received a B, which would be an A weighted, correct? would that factor into my GPA?
but this spring quarter, I’m planning on taking physics, and over the upcoming summer, I’m planning on taking Statistics, Chemistry, and Business, which would all be weighted because i’m taking it @ a cc right?
if it helps, i also got a 231 on my psat, and i researched a little, and i think i have a prettty good chance at being a national merit semifinalist! i’m not 100% sure if my gpa will hold me back from being a finalist though, but i hope it gives me a mini boost?

so i know my gpa isn’t great at alll, but is there anything i can do to increase my chances of admission?!

major reach if you dont get your sat or act grade to at least a 2000 or a 30

jennifer you are probably a match

chance me back?
