So in the spring of 2012, I will be graduating a full year early. I will be applying this November early admission to the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, which is part of Tisch at NYU. I guess I have two questions really. First of all, does graduating early have a detrimental effect on my chances of getting into college? They won't be able to have as much information on me, but the information they WILL have is pretty good.

ACT: 33 composite, 35 English, 33 Math, 34 Reading, 29 Science, 9 Writing
I have not taken the SAT because NYU only requires either the ACT or the SAT

AP Calculus AB: 5
AP US History: 5

I have worked really hard for my grades, so I only have one A- for both years of high school that I have attended.

Extracurriculars:
Paid solo performer for professional events (I have done everything from summer concert series to luncheons and galas)
Produced my own professionally recorded EP (6 original songs)
Musical theater within school and community
Dance company secretary
Best Buddies volunteer
Humane Society Volunteering
Gave piano lessons for awhile

This year I plan on doing journalism, National Honors Society, and our school literary magazine.

I hate posting this like a laundry list, it makes me look obnoxious.

Anyway what do you think my chances are of getting in? And will the whole graduating early thing get in the way of my admissions, since they won't be able to see THIS year's AP scores?

Thanks!
