Chances of getting into top school?

Hi there..

I am a UK student applying to US universities this year. However, I have heard it is harder for international students...I am wondering about the kind of school I should apply to - I don't want to waste choices on schools which I have no chance of getting in to! Here are my grades and scores...

ACT: 34 Composite
SAT: 1960 Composite (feel this is holding me back from top schools...shame some schools require all scores!)
Taking SAT IIs in December
GCSEs: 9As and 1A
AS Levels: 4As (highest grade at this level) and 1B (most students only take four, was the only student in my school to take 5)
A2 Predicted Levels: 2As, 2As.

ECs and other qualifications:

Volunteered in Ghana and Bulgaria for 5 weeks this summer, Grade 7 piano, grade 5 flute, Intermediate Tap and Modern Dance grades, won the national RCSU Science Challenge 2014, selected by interview to the Senior Sixth Form Committee, volunteered for 9 months in a care home, first prize for feature photo in Youth Journalism International annual contest, swum in a club for six years, had 3 past jobs.

If anyone could give me any kind of indicator as to which schools I should be looking at that would be fantastic!
Also will have to apply for significant financial aid.
Thanks!
