Chances of getting into top UCs

grades so far:
freshman year:
I took bio, chinese 1, computer assisted drafting, english 9, geometry and world geography and got As in all of them both semesters.

sophomore year:
I took algebra 2, chemistry honors, Chinese 3, english 10, engineering tech intro, and world history. I got As on all of them except algebra 2, which i got a B+ on both semesters.

junior year:
I took apbio, Chinese 4 honors, digital photography, english 11 honors, physics, trig/precalc honors, and ap US history. I got all As first semester but one B+ in apbio second semester.

GPA:
4.38 not counting freshman year.

SATs:
1890 and 1990....failure...planning to retake again.

SAT IIs:
chemistry: 780
math IIc: 780
bio: 780
US history: 770

AP tests:
APbio: 5
AP US history: 5

EC: varsity badminton and highest level in piano. I was also in speech and debate and robotics, but I didn't really do anything. I am currently volunteering at this place called Calder Academy. Not sure if it counts for anything, but I've clocked around 100 hours there so far.

what are my chances of getting into the top UCs like UC Berkeley, UCLA, and the others. Also, what other colleges do you think I can possible get into.

Look at the averages for UCLA AND B
their average gpa's at 4.3 yours is over and their unweighted is 3.83
their average SAT is under 2010 you have 1990
you are at the averages of both
retake your SAT and i'm sure you can be above their average you're a match no worries.

Your UC GPA is 4.19--the UCs cap your honors at 8 semesters.

Based upon your GPA and your test scores, your chances are as follows:

UCB (engineering): Slight Reach
UCB (anything except engineering): Match
UCLA: Match
UCSD/UCI/UCD/UCSB: Safe Matches

With those test scores and grades, you have a great chance at places like Georgetown, John Hopkins, Vanderbilt, Rice, and slight chances at Ivies like Univ of Penn, Cornell, and Brown (although you probably need about another 150 points on the SAT I to qualify for these last schools). You are a safe match at Carnegie-Mellon and Georgia Tech (which is quite impressive, if you ask me, since very few people are safe matches at these schools).

UCSD is NOT a safe match, and UCLA is not a match, and UPenn is highly unlikely, but you are nevertheless a solid applicant...try to avoid asian stereotypes in your essays

Your SAT score is somewhat weak for Berkeley, and your ECs a slightly weak too. There've been many with better ECs/scores get rejected, but your GPA seems strong. So, for Berkeley, I'd say slight reach to high match.

UCB/UCLA: Slight Reach
UCSD: Match
UCI/UCSB/UCD: Safe Match

I think you got a good shot at getting into two of the top three UC's. UCI/UCSB/UCD are sure bets. Im not sure why Calcruzer put UCSD with UCI/UCSB/UCD. The average admits are quite different. I believe UCSD's average admit has around a 4.06 GPA and 1950 SAT, while the average admit for UCI/UCSB/UCD has around a 3.9 GPA and 1840 SAT. UCSD's stats are closer to UCLA then they are UCI/UCSB/UCD.

If you do not boost your SATs scores, you will likely not have a shot at Ivies and their comparables... don't mean to be harsh... but rather reality than fantasy though...
