I plan on applying EDII if that helps me at all. Please tell me if you need more information.

Thank you!

A class in Nazi Germany? Pretty specialized for high school.

Students do get in to Tufts with lower GPAs from demanding high schools, but then they often have higher test scores. The mean ACT composite score for this year’s freshmen was 32. Unless your October score rises significantly, Tufts is going to be a major, major reach for you, EDII or not. You might want to check with your high school college counselor and see how students with similar stats to yours from your high school have done in admissions at Tufts.

What other schools are on your list?

Sorry to say, I’m inclined to agree with SlitheyTove. I think Tufts is extremely unlikely.

How’s your class rank? Well over 80% of Tufts freshmen were in the top 10% of their high school class, and over 95% were in the top quarter. As far as I can tell, class rank really matters to Tufts.

I am also applying to Northeastern, Bucknell, Dartmouth, Duke, GW, Johns Hopkins, Syracuse and Union.

And unfortunately my school doesn’t do class rank so I have no idea where I am in comparison to my peers. Thank you both for your input! I really appreciate it

Those are some mighty pricey institutions (in addition to being highly selective in a lot of cases). Do you have some safeties that you feel confident you can both get into and afford to attend?

My safties out of the bunch are Northeastern, Syracuse and Union and luckily, money is not an issue for me right now

Very well, then. Good luck!
