Chances Of Getting Into Tulane?

I received a “priority consideration” letter from them. This means no App fee, automatic merit scholarship consideration, and an interview opportunity. The thing is, I haven’t got anywhere close to what they usually ask for…
I have-
27 ACT (32 Reading score),
3.55 GPA,
4 Years of Advanced/A.P. English classes,
4 Years of Symphonic Band,
2 Years of Jazz Band,
2 Years of writing for school’s Literary/Art Magazine,
1 Year of A.P. Environmental Science.

I mean, surely if they weren’t interested in me they wouldn’t send me this letter.

State: Kentucky

Ethnicity: White

HS Type: Public

I’m also on the autism spectrum (PDDNOS, similar to Aspergers)

Unless they’ve changed things this year, Tulane does not charge an application fee to anyone. All applications are considered for merit, and anyone may interview. So it sounds like this is purely marketing, probably sent to students in your area with a 27+ ACT.

If you’re truly interested in the school, go ahead and apply. But I wouldn’t read anything more into it.

I think it is marketing. DD received it too. She has a higher ACT.
