I'm currently a junior in high school and i really wanted to get into UC Berkeley.
My overall GPA for the three years so far is 3.97, though this semester, i plan on boosting that a lot.

I live in California, which apparantly helps 0_o

Testing scores:
SAT II Math IIC: 800
SAT I: 2050 (though i'm taking it again in a couple weeks)
SAT II Chem: I plan on taking this in May
ACT: I plan on taking this in a few weeks too

Summer Camps:
Cosmos UC Davis 2005
ATDP Berkeley: 2003, 2004

I've taken as many AP classes as I could, more or less
I had AP Calc AB and AP Physics B sophmore year, and got two 5s on the test,
and i'm taking AP English language, chem, US history, and studio art, and maybe 4-5 AP classes for my senior year.

I don't know how good that compares to most applicants, and since i still have a bit of time, know of any way to improve it? I know I should probably get involved with community service and maybe more extracurricular activities. So, what do you think?
Thanks :D

I think you have a solid chance...Cosmos helps quite a bit. With such strong academics, I'm sure you could raise your SAT score, if not for Berkeley, then at least for other colleges. You have great potential.

Who knows? I briefly studied physics and maths there for a semester. Didn't like it, really.

My friend is just mad at me because he applied for graduate school and got rejected, and I was accepted for undergrad, yet I only stayed a semester -- that is where I got those stats from.

I do not understand what those emoticons mean.

Heh, the only reason he wasn't accepted is he previously worked in the miliatry (for Germany -- is a German citizen), and all his work is classified, therefore, he could present no research.

oh... whoops (i use that one too much.... it's one of those anime smilies that if you turn sideways, it's kind of like a person's face... cartoon version)

You have some pretty crazy academics and above average ecs. UC berkeley is easily a match. Tons of people at my school enter berkeley. Around 60 or so last year. Very easy to get in. Almost everyone with 4.2 or more got in. My gpa does not compare with yours, but I think I have a safe chance of making it in.

4.0 so far
ap comp sci last year
calc bc ap bio this year
my school does not have many aps and taking two science classes is strictly forbidden by our administrator, an arrogant and disagreeable man.
ap bio, chem, apush, music theory, calc ab, bc, lit, comp sci, gov, spanish, french
