Chances of getting into UC Berkeley

I am currently a sophomore in a CA charter high school and would like to attend Berekely with a biomedical engineering major

I am a white female

My weighted GPA is 4.46/4.0 unweighted

My Classes that I have taken are below:
Freshman: Lab Biology Honors, Geometry/Trig Honors, World History Honors, Chemistry, Photography
Summer: I took French 101 and 102 at Community College
Sophomore: Anatomy and Physiology, Algebra 2, Pre Calc, AP US history, English 10 honors

I was on varsity golf team freshman year and Varsity Tennis as a sophomore

I am an ambassador for NSHSS
I am the secretary for FIDM Fashion Club
I have organized a food drive for the local homeless women’s shelter
Have 50+ hours of community service
And I am currently in the process of starting Mu Alpha Theta for my school

New PSAT scores
550 reading and writing
580 math
ranked 86th percentile
(I know these scores are really bad, but i hope to focus on the SAT more this summer)

If you have any suggestions to make my chances of getting into there higher, please leave a comment. I know I have not taken the SAT or ACT yet, but please leave any helpful tips!

Without actual test scores, its hard to say. My tip when it comes to standardized tests is to find the one you are good at and stick with it. Most kids on the coasts tend to only take SAT due to the thought process that its “better”. This isn’t true, the overwhelmingly majority of colleges look at both tests equally, so choose the one you’ll do better on and focus on studying for it.
