Chances of getting into UCD?(SAT1 retake vs SAT2 first time?)

<p>Sat 1 score:1830 first time
Sat 2: Did not take. Was planning on taking it October.</p>

<p>AP tests:AP English:3 AP statistics:3</p>

<p>Grades UW:Freshmen year:4.0,4.0 Sophomore year:3.8,3.6 Junior Year:3.6 3.5. I took 4 Weighted classes. I also took Honors English, Math and Science all three years of High School.</p>

Male.Chinese
4th place medalist at a international badminton tournament
Going to be 3 year badminton player with 2 years in varsity
1 year of tennis when I was a freshmen.
Immigrated to US when I was 8 and I’m going to be the first generation to go to college.
Hours 100+.
I want to major in Computer Science/Computer engineering.</p>

<p>Should I retake SAT 1s to get a higher score or take SAT 2 Math 2 and English?</p>

<p>Remember from now on SAT 2 will not be required for UC so I would say retake SAT 1.</p>

<p>Really? I would take SAT II Just to show your intelligence. I got a 1650 on the SAT I and like 1150 combined on the SAT II and got in, but that’s just me. An adviser from UCSB admissions told me that the more you can display yourself, the better. 1850 is pretty high IMO, and you have a good deal of extracurriculars. Showing your specific focus with math level 2 would be my choice in your shoes.</p>

<p>Did you get accepted into Davis this past year? I looked on the website and they don’t have a recommendation for taking the SAT II’s</p>

<p>Yep, ill be there in a month. Really the only recommendation anyone can give you is to show your not some 2100 asian clone that i seem to hear get so much spite. Regardless of your ethnicity, just show that your unique, that matters more for UC’s.</p>
