Chances of getting into UCF

At the moment, I have a gpa of around 3.4 and a act of 23 ( I’ll be retaking the ACT in September, in the past month or so I’ve been able to consistently score in the low 30s and will probably be able to improve my score by another point or two ). I’m planning on either applying this coming fall and if I don’t get in then I’ll apply again for the summer enrollment. If I can get my ACT up to a 31-33 what are my chances of getting into UCF?

Do you know your core weighted GPA?

23 to 31 is a huge jump, so I wouldn’t count on that – but don’t let that stop you from applying.

But as flprepaidmom asked, what is your WEIGHTED GPA?

UCF counts only the core courses required for graduation from Florida high schools, so look only at your core courses, and add one bonus point for AP and similar courses and 1/2 point for Honors and similar.

APPLY FOR FALL 2021. One of several things will happen. You might get accepted. You might get put on a waitlist.

Or you might get accepted for Summer 2021. Understand what that means. It means all you have to do is take ONE online course during the summer…and you are IN for the Fall. It’s basically the same as a Fall admission.
