Chances of getting into UChicago? Low gpa, good extracirriculars

<p>Hi, I'm a rising junior that's extremely interested in uchicago. Here are my stats:
I go to a super competitive private school
GPA: 3.69 uw/3.85 w
I found out that I have pretty intense ADD this Summer so my grades next year should bring up my gpa to 4.03 weighted if all goes well :)
ACT 32 (can be raised)
ECs:
1 job as a cleaner
1 ongoing internship working with a school in Rwanda, right now building basketball court, fundraising, etc.
varsity track all 4 years
XC last year but won't do it again due to lack of interest, want to do longer races than a 5k
Starting a club @ school (biking club)
also building a "think tank" that's basically a room where people can paint on the walls and be awesome
also doing an "inside out @ ___ my school" which is where you post pictures of people representing different groups in an effort to bring people together and break down boundaries
sorry this is super incoherent it's really late!!
I haven't written my essay yet but writing is my strong suit and it should be pretty awesome
Basically I love the idea of business and entrepreneurship n stuff so I was thinking of majoring in economics with a minor in some sort of international thing like international business, etc. </p>

<p>I have a serious obsession with college and stuff (seriously watching college acceptance videos makes me cry) and I really could use some advice on how to get into uchicago with my not so good grades, as sounds awesome I want to go there with every fiber of my being (as im sure many of you understand) </p>

<p>With you going to a top private school, you should definitely get your ACT score raised. Your EC’s seem solid and show a lot of initiative. Focus on an essay that will bring out who you are and best of luck.</p>

<p>You sound like such a great fit for UChicago! And your EC’s sound good - helping the school in Rwanda is unique and actually impactful, which is important, and the fact that you’re making/building two other clubs/program type things shows a serious drive. I totally understand getting a lower GPA at a super competitive school compared to some other schools, but if you really push on your essay and bring up that GPA like you said you’re hoping you will, (and if you bring up your ACT), I think you definitely have a chance!</p>

<p>You have strong ECs. It won’t hurt to do the ACT again to try improve your score. You seem to be dedicated to your ECs and it shows. I would try to nail the essays. UChicago has unique essays so just try to be display your personal voice</p>
